NicK (the ethereal) King began his DJ journey in London, where his debut set at the world-renowned Pxssy Palace marked the start of a multidimensional musical exploration. Though an open-format DJ, NicK’s heart beats to the pulse of house music from around the globe — from classic Chicago and soulful house to Latin, Arabic, Indo house, and beyond.
Through his sets, NicK weaves sound into story, tracing the lineages of rhythm that flow through his own ancestry and lived experience. His published mix series span genres and worlds: GvrlBlxnt, an all–femme-cee rap mix; 444 u, a lush blend of R&B and soul; Techno in the Woods, an evolving collection of experimental EDM journeys and genre explorations through UK garage, drum and bass, Russian dance, and more. Each mix builds an atmosphere, a world, an ether — where music becomes both portal and ritual.
Recently, NicK brought that world to Atlanta’s Beats on the Beltline, elevating the festival’s energy through a global house set that embodied his mission: to bring people home to themselves through movement, memory, and sound.
